Many want to build. Few know what it takes.

An invite-only dinner series for founders, leaders & operators in New York tech. One table, a handful of curated guests, and the conversations founders and operators usually save for each other while building.

The dinners

Every dinner counts.

Each evening has its own table, menu and room. Open yours for details.

The format

No panels, no pitch decks, no name tags.

Every seat is planned. The dinner is the start of the relationship, not the end of it.

01 · Before

We plan the table

A short questionnaire: what you’re building, your Give and Ask, who you want to meet, and one thing people wouldn’t guess about you. We use it to seat you next to the right people.

02 · During

More than dinner

Thoughtful conversation, with time to get up and move around. Expect a few interactive moments too: pressure-testing a new idea, a quick incubation round, or a game that gets the whole table talking. No two evenings run quite the same.

03 · After

Introductions in 48 hours

A recap, personal intros to the guests you should follow up with, an opt-in member directory, and an invite to the Nomad Network Slack.

How the night runs

An honest, unfiltered conversation about building companies.

Mic’d up, cameras around the table, good food and good wine. Filming is discreet, and guests can opt out of any segment.

  1. At the table

Operating Tactics: What Worked, What Didn’t

Real lessons from the trenches, from the hiring mistake that cost six months to the sales playbook that finally clicked.

  2. Over dinner

    Fast Pitch: Incubation Round

Bring one problem every founder seems to face, or one idea you can’t stop thinking about. The table pressure-tests it in rapid-fire rounds.

  3. End of night

    Guess the Founder

A startup twist on the headband game: wear a card with a famous founder, company or startup moment and ask yes-or-no questions to figure out who you are.

Want a seat at the table?

You’ll leave with new relationships with founders who get it, practical tactics you can use Monday morning, and the feeling of having been part of something worth coming back to.

Dinners are small on purpose, so seats are limited. Tell us what you’re building and we’ll reach out when there’s a seat that fits.
